The development of this high-tech, state of the art engraver machine was enabled by Sarin’s having acquired the intellectual property from CNC Laser, the leading Antwerp-based manufacturer of laser sawing, cutting and shaping machines for the diamond industry.

The use of a green laser engraver as opposed to the traditional red lasers used in the industry ensures, among other things, minimal breakage and weight loss on the cut or sawn stone. Other unique advantages of the product are that it can saw through “tension stones,” which are especially prone to damage during any type of processing be it mechanical or laser.

The new product also provides an efficient and direct link to Sarin’s leading rough planning machine DiaExpert — which works with the company’s laser marker DiaMark-Z— and Advisor software — the most advanced and user friendly software in the world for computerized mapping, analysis and laser marking of rough diamonds.
